Puppets are fun to make and it brings-in curiosity in children to learn and use them appropriately. It enthralls them and enhance their creative and imaginative skills. It also helps them to improve their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Learning to make these attractive varieties of puppets is also great fun and is a must for a pre-primary or a nursery teacher. Teacher trainees at PSTTI learn to make different varieties of puppets at low cost which can be easily taught to tiny tots. This session was dedicated to learn to make varieties of sock puppets and instruction was given on how it can be effectively used in a classroom scenario.
