Introduction:

It goes with a truthful saying, "The early, the better". All children have their own developmental Milestones that help them shape a personality, Learning Desire, Communication Skills and Appreciation to life. A child with special needs need not have disabilities in the complete learning process and at the same time a normal child may also address behavioural alterations in certain areas.
A child is a child, whether Normal or Special or having Psychological Blocks or needing Assistance in Learning. Therefore, as a teacher / parent, we need to familiarize ourselves on Scientific Identification, Observation and Understanding the Psychological needs in the Learning Process. This Special course shall be of a great assistance to explore, understand & execute the challenges faced in the day to day life.

Course Description:
  • Day 1 :
Theme: Characteristics  of Effective preschool Teachers
            Aim :     To help teachers identify the 12 characteristics and imbibe the same in the role of a teacher                            or themselves.
  • Day 2:
Theme: Identifying and providing for children with special needs
          Aim:     To help teachers identify, by keen observation skills, recording, and Planning for the child                               identified.
  • Day 3:
Theme: Putting planning into practice
         Aim:  Implementation of planned activities and, counseling skills to talk to  parents. Profiling of skills                        of a child to record progress.

PSTTI, a brainchild of PREET (Patel Rehabilitation and Education Empowerment Trust), has time and again strived towards making the social life of Women better by giving them State-of-art education which in turn helps them to increase their standard of living in the society. In addition to that, PREET also takes care of the all-round development of the student. On 4th of December, 2013, all the Paramedical students of PREET had a time of a lifetime as there was a cricket match organized by them from the institution. The venue was Decathalon Ground, Whitefield,Bangalore,  with the timings being 10:00 am to 02:00 pm. Each child got the opportunity to defend her respective team and she played it with much élan. We thank the management at PREET for bringing up innovative activities for the motivation of the students and we hope to continue spreading happiness amongst all womenfolk
